About This Disease

Frog Eye Leaf Spot causes characteristic purple-bordered spots on leaves resembling a frog eye. It can also cause fruit rot and dieback of branches.

How to Identify

  1. Circular spots with purple-brown margins and tan centers (3-12mm). Spots have concentric rings. Leaves may yellow and drop.
  2. बैंगनी-भूरे मार्जिन और टैन सेंटर (3-12 मिमी) के साथ गोलाकार धब्बे। धब्बों में संकेंद्रित छल्ले होते हैं। पत्तियां पीली हो सकती हैं और गिर सकती हैं।

Prevention

  1. Remove infected plant parts. Prune for good air circulation. Apply dormant fungicides.
